How to start a Hydrocarbon Poisoning Compensation Claim
Hydrocarbons are substances composed largely of hydrogen and carbon. They are the principal constituents of petroleum and natural gas. Hydrocarbons are also used in plastics, paraffin, waxes, fertilizers and oils. They are frequently used in industry as solvents. Examples include benzene, toluene, propane, butane, methane, ethylene and acetylene. A person may be exposed to hydrocarbons whilst at work if they have not been issued with the necessary protective clothing and members of the public could be exposed to it due to inadequate safety measures during disposal / incineration.
Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH) are one type of hydrocarbon.
