The keen staff are walking Hadrian's Wall to raise money for Action Against Medical Accidents (AvMA).
Around 15 employees from Thompsons Newcastle office are taking part in the challenge that will see them walk the 84 miles from Bowness to Wallsend on September 2.
They also hope to encourage 30 family members and friends to support them on the team effort.
AvMA celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and Janet Allan, partner, and head of the Thompsons' clinical negligence department in Newcastle said the birthday was a perfect excuse to raise money for the cause.
She said: "AvMA is an important charity close to the hearts of those who work in clinical negligence. We felt this would be the perfect challenge to celebrate their anniversary.
"AvMA supports people affected by medical accidents and works for better safety and justice when things go wrong. We work closely with the charity during our work to represent patients in the North East and the UK and are proud to help them with fundraising in their anniversary year to enable them to continue with their campaigning work."
