“We respect the jury’s decision but the fight for justice for our lovely and inspiration daughter Aimee goes on.“PC Hart’s actions cut short the life of a wonderful young woman who had battled so hard against cystic fibrosis.
“Aimee never let the challenges she faced get her down, she was so full of life. We will never forget her and for now we cannot see when we will be able to come to terms with our loss.
“In her name we will be pursuing an action in the civil courts against PC Hart and Cleveland Police.”
