Road accident causing broken neck

Andrew represented Mark Cook from Middlesbrough who was injured in a car accident and broke his neck.  He was diagnosed as being tetraplegic as a result and is now wheelchair bound.  Andrew recovered a multi million pound settlement for him.

Royal Navy Personnel killed in accident

Andrew represented the families of the submariners killed on board HMS Tireless after an explosion on board the nuclear powered submarine beneath the Arctic.

Council Worker hit by car

In this case, Andrew assisted the family of a Council Highways worker from Hartlepool.  He was setting out roadwork signage when he was hit by a car.  The impact caused him to be in a Persistent Vegetative State for over 2 years before he sadly passed away.  Andrew was successful in proving that the driver of the car was at least partly to blame for the accident.

Army Officer injured in Car Accident

Andrew's client in this case was an army officer who had just returned home from serving in Iraq.  A soldier was sent to collect him and drive him back to the barracks but the soldier fell asleep at the wheel and collided with another vehicle.

Andrew's client had to be cut free from the wreckage by firefighters and suffered multiple injuries including a broken leg, ruptured ligaments in his knee and damage to his hand.  He was left with Deep Vein Thrombosis as a result of the fracture which will have to be carefully managed for the rest of his life as well as frequent chest pains and permanent back pain.

Andrew was successful in recovering compensation from the Ministry of Defence in this case.
