Job title: Assistant Executive

Salary: £25,308 - £32,297 p.a. dependent upon experience plus benefits
Job purpose:
• Manage a full caseload of mainly fast track cases under supervision. The caseload may include some CICA cases as well as some larger cases including disease.
• Carry out work on other team members’ cases as required .
The job holder will be expected to conduct and manage his/ her caseload in all respects, including taking appropriate decisions involving the exercise of judgement, subject to supervision.
The level of supervision required will be in accordance with the firm’s basic system together with some further assistance in relation to major strategic decisions on cases.
The job holder will accordingly require a sound theoretical knowledge of the work and an ability to conduct cases from beginning to end.
The job does not carry any direct supervisory responsibility, but the job holder will play an important role in the team in helping to achieve the team’s objectives.
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively is essential.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of an award winning national employment law Practice.
The post holder will conduct a varied claimant caseload from beginning to end as well as providing advice to our clients on all aspects of employment law. You will also have the opportunity to conduct and develop your advocacy skills and to provide training to our trade union clients.
We are looking for individuals with an interest and empathy with the trade union movement and for advancing workers rights.
Applicants should ideally have at least 2 years’ post qualification experience (or equivalent) in employment law.
