David Robinson is new Secretary to Headway Teesside

Head Injury Charity in Teesside

David Robinson, a Serious Injuries Solicitor specialising in head injuries at Thompsons Solicitors, has been elected as Secretary to Headway Teesside at its Annual General Meeting.

Headway Teesside is a local charity which seeks to promote local awareness of the dangers of head injury, and it also provides support to survivors of head injuries, their families and their carers.

David will work alongside the newly elected Chair, Sue Moore, to raise the profile of the charity across the North East and to better support those who have been affected, directly or indirectly, through brain injury.

Speaking following his appointment David said: “Headway Teesside is a charity which seeks to support individuals at the heart of the community and I feel tremendously proud to be involved in such a supportive and positive charity. There are going to be lots of challenges in the coming months but the whole Committee of Headway Teesside is enthused and together we will provide strength, support and friendship to our members”.

If anyone has suffered a brain injury, or knows anyone who has, they are encouraged to attend the Headway Teesside drop in at Newport Community Centre, St. Paul’s Road, Middlesbrough, between 12 noon and 2 pm every Wednesday.
