Worker trapped by forklift dies from her injuries
Severe crush injuries caused by forklift truck
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) have launched an investigation after a female employee died at a Bristol based wholesalers.
Annie Brennan was working at the Booker Cash and Carry warehouse in Avonmouth when the incident on the 12th December occurred.
Ms Brennan who was in her 40’s became trapped under a forklift truck, the force of which caused severe crush injuries. Paramedics worked under the forklift to treat Ms Brennan, and firefighters used blocks and airbags to raise the truck.
Ms Brennan was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital but died from her injuries shortly after arrival.
